5 days before Christmas!

I can't believe that Christmas is just a few days away, and that means gifts, food, family, and fun for everyone. To be honest, here in my part of the world, the only indicator that the holiday season is drawing near is the nonstop discounts and sale events from tons of clothing stores everywhere. Well that, and the fact that I can already see a bit of those Christmas lights and a few decors here and there on the streets of Auckland.

Back in Philippines, our Christmas festivities usually start by mid-October. (too early? Yep. We're happy like that.) Stores in malls blast different Christmas tunes and houses sparkle at night with lights and basically people just go all out happy and excited. Gift shopping will be super easy because even if you can't buy high-end merchandise from the pretty shops, there are lots of other places where you can get good but cheaper gifts like from Divisoria and pretty much everywhere, you just have to know where to look.
